Today’s the first sunday of Advent. Light the advent candle one. Eleanor’s old enough this year that she’s excited for opening doors to the Advent calendars (one biblical, one chocolate) and asking about the candles being lit. Pretty cool.
Anyways, this is one of the newest songs I’ve learned and played with the Refuge band at St. Augustine’s. I like all the synth and electronic sounds, and how they complement the melody.
The lyrics sink deep within the soul for contemplation of the magnificence and greatness of God. It’s not a question of how deep, but an exclamation of the soul in awe of the love being witnessed.
There is no limit to God’s love; it is unconditional.
Good thing to remember going into this season of prayer, reflection, fasting and preparation.
